It’s time to firm up plans for the next several weeks leading up to July and beyond! I just spent several days considering dates and timing to plan my studio events from Open Studio Weekend to teaching another design class. Details will be revealed over the next month. Make sure to bookmark this blog for updates and news!

As mentioned several times before I am opening the doors to my studio for the third time, featuring work my design students have produced. In addition I have invited M. Joan Foulston from Tugaske and Parsons – Dietrich Pottery from Moose Jaw to provide a weekend destination not to be missed.

Mark your calendars for this once a year event: June 22nd – 24th, 2012. The studio will open Friday from 3 pm till 9 pm (but don’t worry if you are coming down the hill 15 minutes before closing – the refreshments won’t be put away till the last visitor departs…). Saturday and Sunday the hours are 10 am through 6 pm. A map will be posted closer to the date or you may email me directly <anna@annahergert.com>.

Details about my design workshop will be circulated in early June. I am firming up dates as my calendar is beginning to fill up for 2013. Just a few weeks ago I mentioned that I had no bookings for next year (except the Abruzzo School of Creative Arts experience in late September 2013). This is no longer a fact – event organizers, quilt shop owners and guilds are beginning to reserve dates for next year! And to get everybody thinking about it: I have had several promising inquiries for Abruzzo in 2013!
