Grand National bound…

It’s always great to receive an acceptance letter in the mail, but it is even better when the news arrive by email. Grand National 2013 is a reality! Here is what arrived last night:

The Grand National Quilt Show 2013 – Local Colour

Dear Anna,

Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to send us an image and information about your pieces, Joie de Vivre and Miles from Nowhere.

We are delighted to include them in Local Colour…

I am excited and feel honored that my works were accepted from over 100 entries. I will soon be packing and shipping them off to Homer Watson House in Kitchener, ON.

Having received my acceptance into the Grand National for the fourth time straight offsets the grey and frosty day here and makes it appear so much more colorful! Looks more like Christmas than early March…
