Reconnecting with Quilt Artists in the Okanagan

Just a quick check in between classes… I had a fabulous time connecting with a group of art quilters from the Okanagan over the past weekend. The group was comprised of ten members from the local organizing committee of Quilt BC which took place in Penticton in May 2013.
There was learning, laughter, great food and late nights visiting at Joanne’s comfortable home/B&B. The Peachland Community Hall provided a spacious and bright hall and the days slipped by in a hurry. Much too soon we wrapped up the productive weekend. I am leaving with the knowledge that new friendships were forged and the creative juices will continue to flow well into the future. Thank you everyone for your support, friendship and a fabulous weekend!
