Well, yes…. While on the road teaching some changes occurred that impacted my plans to return to Shekinah for Art Quilt Campus 2014. Thanks to some efficient networking and great recommendations I made contact with the guestmaster at St. Michael’s Abbey in Muenster. There was no time to waste, we “hit the road” early yesterday to meet with the guestmaster and tour the facility.
I am happy to report that I have booked St. Peter’s for Art Quilt Campus 2014. I am presently working on an updated version of the brochure and will be contacting everyone on the early sign up list shortly. Once the info has been distributed to the list I will post images and details on this blog. Stay tuned and check back soon for “the scoop”.
Any hints? There will be no mosquitoes while dyeing… There will be a climate controlled learning environment… And there will be a place to relax and bring along your favourite pre- and post-dinner beverage.
Happy Sunday. Enjoy the first Sunday of Advent with family and friends. We are off to our first Christmas party.

I have attended a Quilt Retreat at St. Michaels Abby in the past and I agree it is a wonderful location, and facility! I am also interested in attending the Art Quilt Campus … could you put my name on the interested list please!…

I’ve been to many writing retreats at St. Peter’s in Muenster. It’s a great place to create, relax, & connect with like minded people. And the setting provides a peaceful place to regenerate. Great choice, Anna!

You arrived home just in time to start partying. What could be better. Enjoy. Our block will be carolling this evening to neighbours who can’t get out and the weather is perfect. This is a tradition of 25 years now. I moved in 24 years ago today.

Elinor – before I really party I need to catch up on some sleep. Making head way… and wishing we had a caroling group in our neighbourhood! Have fun and sing your heart out!

Hi Paige, I have driven from my location in Northwest B.C. to St. Michaels and enjoyed the trip so much! 2 days of peaceful driving, with scenery to inspire! Spent the night over at a campground in Vermilion! It was awesome!!
