Happy Anniversary! You registered on WordPress.com 2 years ago! Thanks for flying with us. Keep up the good blogging!

The above logo and message arrived a little while ago in my message folder, and it jogged my memory in remembering that it’s a double anniversary day… Today two years ago I began to blog with WordPress – I had previously shared on my website blog. For 2 1/2 years I tried to get comfortable with blogging, and when Apple announced that they were no longer hosting websites I took the plunge and signed on with WordPress, a decision I have not regretted once. I love the easy template they have set up. I just type and import my images, and it is ready to share! Best of all, I love how I have built a community with this blog. Sharing information, generating discussion and networking opportunities have been great reasons for maintaining the blog. Best of all, I have met so many wonderful, like-minded people – many of them found me on this blog. Thank you so much for your continued support!

That is one anniversary remembered, the second special event from two years ago was that I found out I would be teaching in Italy at the Abruzzo School of Creative Arts. Imagine my surprise when just yesterday I received a notice that I have one registration for 2014… only 4 more participants to go.
