…to stop and take a deep breath and release the tension that builds when I am chained to the computer due to deadlines and the relentless cold outside. I am grateful for the sun that makes – 26 C (much lower with the wind chill!) appear less discouraging.
I continue to work on the Kantha book, now in its second phase of proof reading thanks to some great input from friends and former students. And I finally have a grasp on the content of the final session of the advanced design class. Input from participants has been invaluable as usual and will help put the finishing touches on the last set of handouts. I can’t wait to see everyone on Saturday for the usual idea exchange as well as the sharing session of selected homework.
And before I forget: Are you getting ready to share your CDAs for February? Just like last month I share the new theme a few days before we turn the calendar. I am willing to bet you are expecting a green theme… but that would be just too easy. The theme for March is “All That Jazz.” The same rules apply: Use what you have. If you must venture out to enhance your stash we won’t stop you, but try to keep the new acquisitions to a minimum. Have fun as you anticipate the new theme while completing the CDAs for February. Stay warm while you create!
Looking forward to seeing the February round of CDAs!

Hi Anna, your photographs are a reminder of the best of winter – sun on snow. My own eyes are bleary from processing entries for “Prairies”. I should have a final count in the next few days. Keep warm.
