…with a couple of stowaways! Oscar is excited and readily jumped into my carry on, Lucky is distressed – she doesn’t like it when the suitcases come out. It doesn’t help that we just finished a major thunderstorm with tornado warning.
It has been a very busy couple of days and the good news is that I am all packed for my trip to Ontario. Several large parcels with workshop kits were been sent ahead a week ago. They have arrived and are waiting at their destination. The handouts are safely tucked away in the suitcase. I am flying out tomorrow morning for a few days of Quilt Judging Certification Programme review and revisions of the teaching and student manuals. Sunday I make my way to St. Catharines Brock University for a week of teaching, meetings and networking.
I really look forward to connecting with students and friends. It has been nearly two years that I was in Ontario last. Quilt Canada promises to be a great event with great communication from the organizers and everyone involved.
Once I get home on June 17th life will kick into high gear for the Open Studio event. Here is a sneak peak into what my studio looked like just a couple of hours ago.
Colin has been busy building a few more display walls. We are ready for 20 students this year and it promises to be a great event. Excitement is building with daily inquiries about dates and times. I will be posting details once I get home from Ontario.
I plan to post regularly from Quilt Canada. Check back often!
Happy Trails Anna, you know that I am with you in spirit and hope that you have a great time.
