After several days of working hard in preparation for Quilt Canada 2014 we took a few moments after lunch to enjoy the sunshine. I just love the textures and colors in Kathy’s backyard.

Coming from a harsher climate I make it a point of soaking in those colors and the sunshine!

…and I cannot resist sharing this fabulous contrast of red against the cloudless azure sky. Back to work…
