On my way across the parking lot I created a stir among the Canada Geese – they did not stick around long enough to meet a fellow Canadian…

Once I entered the exhibition center I located my overstuffed suitcase. It is very full… and the image here shows it after I already removed eight quilted landscapes for the exhibition. Imagine how creased they were!

Introducing my best friend… a trusty spray bottle. Misting both front and back of each piece soon them back in prime exhibition form.

I have already proposed a new special exhibit to the organizers for the Quilt Festival of New England later this year.

Thank you to Mancuso Show management for providing such great exhibition opportunities for its instructors.
My afternoon will be spent judging and setting up my classroom for tomorrow. More poor weather is on the way, but I am confident that people in New Jersey are better prepared to deal with snow than Virginians… I know they have snow removal equipment here! As stated yesterday, I have a few openings in my classes and the lecture on Friday afternoon at 4:30 pm. The lecture covers “Innovative Connections”… stop in if you want to find out more!
What a beautiful exhibition Anna. Each of these quilts has such a pleasing composition in itself while collectively they present a delightful panorama. Congratulations on the artistry of your compositions and diligence in producing yet another inspiring example of meeting design criteria you teach about so well.

Hi Anna,
Looks like you’re having another great adventure!! I know your classes will be well received by those easterners!
When you get home, can we connect about the Edmonton show that’s happening in June?
Take care!!

Thanks for connecting, Kathy. I have been wondering when we will connect about June. It will be here sooner than we think. I will be on the road again by the end of April. Looking forward to some studio time when I get home next week.
