…a routine! I am home and all unpacked. The slide show today is a short recap of my workshops with fabulous people in Somerset, NJ. I can’t believe that it was only a week ago that the snow slowed down everything and made the show close early.  Thank you so much to my students who braved the winter storm to attend class and my lecture. It was a pleasure to meet everyone!

I am home now, and eager to settle in for a few weeks before the car gets packed again for more travel and teaching. Speaking of that, I will be at the Sunshine Coast in early May to judge their big quilt show and teach  a couple of workshops. For more info check out my workshop page on this blog.

The week following Mother’s Day (May 13th – 17th, 2015) I am scheduled to offer a couple of workshops at the Pacific Northwest School of the Arts. Check out my calendar for more info. The deadline for registration is approaching fast and I am told that the numbers are quite low at this time. I don’t teach in the Pacific Northwest often, so this is one opportunity to take in a design (Twisting the Landscape) and my popular Kantha workshop.

I am also teaching in Grand Forks later in May. My super popular workshop “Capture the Essence” (which was 20 participants strong last year at Quilt Canada) is scheduled to be offered over 4 days. The class is capped at 16 participants; Emilie Belak is your contact to register. Again, details are on my workshops page on this blog. I believe there are a few spots left.

And then it is on to Quilt Canada 2015 in Lethbridge where I will be co-teaching the Quilt Judge Certification Programme for one last time. We have nine participants registered to date and Kathy Bissett and I look forward to meeting all the aspiring quilt judges. We will also connect with the new teachers of the programme who will be working closely with us so the transition will be smooth.

And after that? Retirement looks appealing…. Instead I am heading to Edmonton for judging, and at the beginning of July I am returning to Drumheller for their 2nd Annual Quilting in the Badlands. I will share more about that once I finalize my contract.

I will stop here, there is more to come – but I will cover that in another post.

If you ever have the chance to take Anna’s “Capture the Essence” class, do yourself a favour and take it. You will not be disappointed!

    • Thanks, Theresa! The fist time I taught this class was in Italy where you and six other Canadian joined together to explore Sulmona and the general Abruzzo area. What a great time we had… and now we connect every year at Art Quilt Campus. This workshop brings out the creative side in everyone!
