Another day comes to a close. Day 4 is always a turning point: The sewing machines whir steadily and projects are completed and started. We spent time on a composition exercise in the morning, and we had several demonstrations of materials in the afternoon.
After dinner almost everyone headed into Humboldt for a little shopping excursion at the “House of Stitches”. The quilt store was busy with sewing machine demos and a special sale.
A sense of urgency has set in, we have only one full day tomorrow to get projects well under way or finished…. Let’s see where everyone gets to! Check back soon for more images and stories.
Paige’s leaves look beautiful as well as Dorothy’s rusted and indigo dyed piece. Looks like a wonderful and creative week.
