I am leaving the lake behind and turn my wheels west today. The car is packed with samples and supplies like recycled dryer sheets, packaging mylar, tyvek and so much more…
My friend Alison spent the better part of the summer and fall promoting two of my workshops, and she managed to fill them both. I look forward to connecting with “old” friends and to making new friends next week.
We will explore machine embellishments for two days which is followed by my “Cause and Effect” workshop where we experiment with everyday materials to achieve one of a kind edgy results. Can’t wait to see what everyone will come up with.
This will be my last teaching trip for 2015. I will actually be home for two full months before I board another plane. I am reducing my teaching significantly starting next year. It is time to refocus my energy, explore new ideas and get a move on the Kantha book that is due at the publisher next summer.
OK, time to get the car started and get going! We hope to stop at Reed Lake to check for Trumpeter Swans. Will keep you posted if we see any this year. Have a great Monday, everyone!
Sounds like an interesting set of supplies for your workshops. Hope you see Trumpeters!
