Remember this? “Morning Has Broken” is taking flight! It is on its way to Germany as I am typing this.
A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a friend of someone who had bough art work from me in the past. Apparently the interested party had visited my website with images countless times, and when a major event in his life took shape he decided to inquire if “Morning Has Broken” was for sale, and most importantly: if I still had it in my possession. The answer was “yes” to both.
Once I returned from teaching in Calgary I spend some time packaging the piece for its long trip across the continent and ocean. I am waiting to hear when “Morning Has Broken” reaches its destination.
Closer to home it looks more and more like fall is here to stay. We woke up to dense fog and it has only lifted marginally. I can finally see the shoreline across from me. I am happy it is not snowing. It is a great day to regroup and explore creativity in the studio! First things first, I have a couple of images to frame for an upcoming Moose Jaw Art Guild group exhibition at the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery. I am just deciding what to submit…
Congratulations Anna, it’s a beautiful piece. What a nice way to be re-introduced into your studio!
