I spent some time this afternoon pressing and hanging my special exhibit. There are ten pieces on display, an overview of my creative explorations from the last 13 years.

And then there is the ever popular and discussion generating work created from plastic kitchen wrap…

the Madame Butterfly kimono is back… there were statements in New England in August that this “must have been made in China”. I can assure everyone, it is made in Canada!

A special thank you to Ryan and Jarred for their help with hanging my exhibit. They were walking fast on their way to hang the next exhibit – hence the very blurry image!
A apologize for the quality of these images… I used my iPad and the lighting was poor. Would you believe it: On the way to the airport I discovered that the camera I had packed did not have a memory card… So, the iPad will have to do for this trip!
Where are the palm trees you ask? Here an image of palm trees. The weather isn’t great today, in fact it was very windy today – but I take a windy day in Florida over a chilly day in Saskatchewan any day!
I plan to catch up on lost sleep tonight. Tomorrow will be busy with judging
Hi Anna! Nice to see another Saskatchewan artist on the move. Hope all goes well for you in the judging arena. 😊.

Will do my best – so far it is grey but relatively warm! But with spending a lot of time working there is little opportunity to spend time pool-side!
