What does one do when the colourful sunrise expected turns out to be a no show? It’s Sunday and after leading an introductory photography workshop yesterday I feel somewhat lazy. I had hoped to take out my camera for a bit today to capture light reflecting off snow and the sparkle of the ice. You can see above how grey it is outside, the best definition of an achromatic landscape I have witnessed in a long time.
The solution is to crate colour close to home. We are expecting company for coffee so I pulled out the baking supplies. No worries – I will not start sharing recipes – these pictures will speak a thousand words.
May your Sunday be filled with colour and tasty treats!
In the studio I am working on a couple of articles for the blog. One request came in to cover photographing whole cloth quilts. It is a challenge but one that can be overcome with minimal photographic equipment. More in the upcoming days!
