…or better: “Show off time! ” I spent yesterday taking pictures of the studio. The main area is complete, the baseboards were done last weekend and I must admit, I love the new floor. It adds light to the my studio space, is easy to clean and adds a neutral backdrop to my favorite red on the walls.
Best of all, I finally got my storage cupboards in order, something I wanted to do pretty much since shortly after I moved in. The mezzanine is not quite up to par. I am purging and organizing quilts, samples and books. I see a sale in the not too distant future.
It feels great to go in to the space to pursue work each day. I haven’t felt this motivated in years to spend full days in the studio. The weather is turning a bit cooler, so I will be found in the studio for the rest of the week.
Thanks for stopping by. Comments are always welcome.

Nothing like kicking out the cobwebs from our space and our minds… I sometimes just like to look at the cleaness for a while,

Amazing studio, and so expertly organized. Lots of natural light. It must be a joy for your students, (and you, of course) to work there.

Thanks Carole. The teaching from the studio has pretty much come to a halt over the past couple of years due to my increased travel associated with teaching. Life is change… and things continually change. Keeps it challenging.

Wow Anna sure looks great and was worth the effort. Everything in its place is how I like it also. Enjoy the light because the floor will make it seem so much brighter. Good work. Leona

Thanks, Alice! It never really stays this well organized for long. The creative mind has the horizontal spaces filled up quickly – making progress on that front today…
