Spring has Sprung

I heard the Prairie Crocus is in full bloom… about a month early! I spent a few minutes this morning looking for the crocus that grow in front of our property and was rewarded with a sparse showing.

After a dry winter and very little moisture so far this spring the crocus are slowly emerging on this dry east facing hillside. None-the-less, these harbinger of spring are a welcome sight and it made me realize that I have not taken my camera out much lately.

As I mentioned a few times lately, we were tied down with some home upgrades and they took priority. We are now finished, had professional photos made of the house and studio and inserted the pertinent information into the listing site earlier this week. We were anxiously awaiting the appraisal which arrived late Friday night. Yesterday our real estate listing went live.

Over the past nine years we have worked hard on our house to make it into the home we had envisioned when we first viewed and bought in on April 18th, 2007. We have had countless visitors, friends and fellow artists who have provided positive feedback over the years and wanted to know if we were ever in the market of selling…

Here is the official link to our listing. Please share the info with anyone you know who might be interested. The house is move in ready and the studio is waiting for the next artist who will be inspired by the Million Dollar view. Thank you for sharing!

Enjoy the sunshine – wherever you are!

Your house is beautiful, just love the detail that you have especially the tin work in the kitchen. .

    • Hi Shirley, the tin work was one of the first things I added and you must have seen it when you visited us. However, painting the cupboard and tiling the counter tops have really helped to offset the tin back splash.

  3. Thanks, Donna! We are prepared for this to take some time. The real estate markets east and west are booming, but in SK things tend to be slower. We have done all we can for now. The new owners will be able to enjoy a carefree lifestyle.

It is really difficult to make the decision to sell. Good luck and best wishes!
