Color – Collaboration – Comradery

I believe the images summarize today’s busy day: 16 talented, inspiring and focused women gather to explore new ideas in an environment that fosters creativity. Have I shared how motivated everyone is? We have participants in the dye studio from sunrise to sundown,  the indigo dye vats are “blooming”, sewing machines are whirring in the sewing studios and new ideas are sparked every time two or more artists begin a conversation. As one participants said with a big smile this morning: ” I fell into bed last night and thought I am completely exhausted from all the things I accomplished – and then I realized… it was only days one…”

I wonder what everyone is thinking tonight? It’s pretty quiet in the hallway and the lights are out… looks to me like everyone is resting up for another productive day. Stay tuned for the update tomorrow!

What wonderful colours. I really liked the black flower outlines. Say hi to everyone.
