Demos, swinging the mop and a fire alarm…

Someone mentioned it is full moon… I am beginning to believe that special events take place during the full moon this August.

Art Quilt Campus is going well and with dyeing complete everyone has moved into the sewing studio full time. The energy is beginning to build more each day and tonight I was not the last to leave the classroom after the optional session on critique.

We were kept on our toes today… the day was filled with demos. Lynn shared her computerized Silhouette template/stencil cutter, we covered Inktense pencils and blocks with various media to set the colour, Shiva sticks are ever-popular… and then the fire alarm went off. Never a dull moment at Art Quilt Campus.

Anyone wondering how Birdie’s hand is doing?… She is a trooper and has not been slowed down with her bandaged finger – can you find her in the pictures working on her latest art piece?
