When I registered for a Contemplative Photography Workshop with John McQuade at Fleming College in Haliburton in July I thought the dates were far in the future. Summer flew by and now we are halfway into fall.
I am sitting in the Regina Airport as I am typing this post. My camera bag is resting at my feet with just under the 23 lb carry on limit, but ever so heavy to lug around… I know I won’t be walking around Pearson Airport much during the three hour layover. 😉
Packing for the workshop was not an easy feat! The supply list was simple and that is never a good thing when one has lots of lens choices. I think I am set, I narrowed it down to four lenses. I know some people will do this with less equipment but I have a habit of always overthinking matters.
But this trip is not about just learning. It is about reconnecting with a dear friend, enjoying the fall colors on Ontario (I hope the recent rain has not washed them all away!) and just grasping the objectives of Miksang photography.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks, Eileen! I am spending a couple of days in Ottawa and despite the heavy rain and chilly weather I captured some awesome leaves today! Have to download them from the camera – will post soon!

Well, at this time I am just gathering impressions… and they may never get translated into fabric… But, I best not say “never”. 😉
