When the snow forecast for last night didn’t make an appearance we were hopeful that the weather report was wrong or the system had somehow bypassed the Haliburton Highlands. However, it is this time of year and as we were making our way to class we detected the first tiny flakes which by lunchtime had become corn snow and by later afternoon the flakes morphed into large fluffy and wet snow flakes!
Miksang photographers won’t be deterred by a nippy breeze and blowing snow… we ventured out over the lunch hour to explore the landscape transitioning from autumn to winter…
Absolutely beautiful!
