Before I start packing for my next trip I am sorting through the many images I captured in Ontario. One of the most memorable places I visited there was Mer Bleue, a Peatlands just south of Ottawa. I have been told those trees are tamarack. They go from green to yellow/rust and lose their needles. We have them here. Quite interesting.

Yes Katina, the trees go by Tamarack and Larch – and they loose their needles in the fall.
