My days have been grey, damp and somewhat on the longish side. I catch the train every morning to make my way to my niece’s home and usually return home to my sister’s place well after dark.

This morning I had a nice surprise when I got off the train and found myself with a little extra time and no need to look for shelter to escape the rain. I decided to explore the city’s traffic free shopping area with its Art Nouveau buildings. My time flew by … I have published a short post with images on my travel blog here.

Tonight I found this at the super market:

Imagine… North American pancakes in a package… this is one souvenir I will not bring back in my suitcase. 😉
