A Winter Welcome…

I came home early afternoon Monday and with me arrived the extreme cold. I had over-nighted in Calgary where the temperatures had already slipped. Regina was considerably warmer at – 7 C but that didn’t last long. Yesterday we woke up to -15 C and today to -25 C with the windchill.

True to my own motto to search for and find colour no matter where and when I braved the neighbourhood yesterday and today. I walked to Loney’s Beach via the road and made my way back on the frozen lake pushing my sense of adventure…

I am busy downloading my last images from Germany and am actively preparing more posts of sights and impressions from my time with family.

Today I have some images from Rheinbach, a quaint village we visited on November 27th. Check out the story on my travel blog here. That should warm you up after the chilly images from today’s walk.
