Studio Sale Update!

April is in full swing in Saskatchewan, and the month’s weather is definitely living up to typical April predictions… a little bit of everything! We have had gorgeous sunshine, wind and with that come the most amazing cloud formations!

The weekend was busy with various commitments and friends dropping by the studio for the art and book sale. I have had emails from readers who live further away. I was asked to post images of the art work on the blog but pressing deadlines are preventing me from doing so right now. I will consider it closer to the Easter Weekend – so stay tuned for images of work that is still available.

Meanwhile the Open Studio weekends continue. Please refer to the details below the slide show to find dates, times and directions:

Saskatchewan – Alberta – Manitoba Quilt / Art Guild members and Fiber artists, (and anyone within driving distance!)

You are cordially invited to a giant studio supply, book and art sale at my studio.

Sale dates:
Friday, April 7th   noon – 4 pm
Saturday, April 8th   noon – 4 pm

Friday, April 21st    noon – 4 pm
Saturday, April 22nd    noon – 4 pm

Friday, April 28th   noon – 4 pm
Saturday, April 29th    noon  – 4 pm

Call 306.631.8539 to set up a special day and time if the above dates are not suitable. We are home all month (if Easter Weekend is best for you, call and set up a time!)

Everything must go. No reasonable offers on books  (over 600 titles left – art reference, art practice, embroidery, design, quilting, felting, sewing, mixed media techniques), equipment (tables, chairs, craft cupboard, small washing machine, frames, Ott lights) and art work (framed and textile hangings) will be refused.

Driving Directions:

Directions 1:
Coming from Moose Jaw you take the # 2 turn off to P. A. / Chamberlain. Travel approximately 30 km on the # 2 and look for a seed farm on your right and the sign for “Prairie Harbour Cadet Camp”/”Lakeside Terrace”/“Sand Point”. Turn right onto the gravel road and travel for 1.6 km. The road will go down a long hill. At the bottom of the hill you turn left and immediately left again into the drive way. A  “Open Studio” sign will guide the way!

Directions 2:
From Regina travel north on the # 11 toward Saskatoon. At Chamberlain you turn onto the # 2 toward Moose Jaw and travel for 21 km.
Look for a seed farm on your left and the sign for “Prairie Harbour Cadet Camp”/“Lakeside Terrace”/“Sand Point” on your right.
Turn left onto the gravel road and travel for 1.6 km .The road will go down a long hill. At the bottom of the hill you turn left and immediately left again into the drive way. A  “Open Studio” sign will guide the way!
Note: When coming from Chamberlain you will approach Buffalo Pound Lake and go across the causeway.
