Art Quilt Campus, Week 1, Day 3: No Idle Hands here!

Wednesdays at Art Quilt Campus are always filled with a sense of urgency. The dye studio floor gets a good scrubbing, dye jars and containers get cleaned up and the last of the luscious fabrics are dried outside.

In the sewing studio the rhythmic clatter of the machines means that strips and patches of fabric are being joined together, quilts are sandwiched and pinned, and just like magic new compositions appear on the design walls around the room. The evening programme included a session on how to photograph your art work and an in-depth discussion of the definition of Modern Quilting.  Enjoy the pictures!
