Art Quilt Campus, Week 1, Day 4: Can hardly keep up…

Another busy day at St. Peter’s Abbey in Muenster, SK has come to an end. The sewing studio was humming with activity and creative interaction. Thursday evening is usually the “free night” when participants head to Humboldt for some fabric and clothing shopping, or some ice cream. This year the group decided to stay in and add a critique night. I am so impressed with how the communication and interactions went. Most participants have attended Art Quilt Campus in the past and tonight I recognized that the strong friendships that have forged over the years are now moving into a mutual support network.

We called it a day at 8:30 pm and the conversations moved to the lounge and more comfortable seats…
