Inspiring Each Other: AQC Week 2, Day 3

The dye room is all tidied and clean and AQC participants have fully moved into the sewing studio as of late this afternoon. As I walk around the large space I realize that amazing progress has been made with designs, layout and compositions.

The evening programme pertained to photographing textile art and the many excellent questions posed provided a starting point for discussions. As always, the day concluded with decadent snacks and a night cap and/or tea. A relaxed

A relaxed athmosphere has settled over the Abbey as we watched the red sun, partially obscured by clouds,  make its way across the sky tonight.

  1. The needle felting artist creating the most intricate sculptures incorporating natural materials gathered throughout the year is Jean Bell, Elinor. You met Jean last Christmas when you visited us in Moose Jaw.
