Look at who’s baaaack!!!!??
“Wabi Sabi Modern” is safely back in my hands. It arrived last week, just before the long weekend. It was well taken care of while travelling with the Mancuso Shows for several months (August through January).
Thanks to Debbie MacLeod in Vernon, BC for taking on the responsibility of receiving and shipping the quilts to Mancuso last summer and receiving them back to repackage and dispatch them to their respective owners last week. A well choreographed action for all involved!
That was 2017. Let’s move on to 2018! The call for entry is out for World Quilt 2018! Let’s see if Canada can assemble its best line up of competition quilts yet! To be eligible for a Best of Country Award there need to be 10 quilts submitted! We just made it last year… and I am not sure why everyone is so reluctant to submit! After the jury results are communicated we ship to the collection point and everything is taken care of by the coordinator. So, I am sharing this information early: Please consider entering World Quilt 2018. Here is the Canada_2018_Entry Form
Don’t put this one off. It has been a cold and long winter and I would bet that many new and fabulous quilts have been created across the country. If you read this and feel only the slightest bit of excitement printout the entry form. Questions? Email Debbie directly by clicking on this link.
Good luck to the Canadian Quilters! Can’t wait to see what is on display this year!
Very nice Anna. I forgot just how lovely this one is. Thanks for representing Canada. Leona

Thanks, Debbie – that ribbon would not be in my hands without your encouragement to enter. 😉
