Packing the car for Art Quilt Campus 2018 was positively enjoyable and easy! With all attendees experienced dyers it was agreed last year that anyone embarking on dyeing would pack accordingly, freeing up some space and time for me.
The smoke has cleared a lot overnight and we are enjoying the sun casting shadows again! It is a lovely late summer day, perfect for anticipating a week filled with creativity and art exploration. Stay tuned this week as I share pictures and anecdotes.
Have a wonderful week, Anna! Somehow it reminds me of my class with you at QBL, way back when…..

QBL was fabulous… I can’t believe that was 11 years ago when we met for the first time! Art Quilt Campus has developed into a much different event – everyone here has grown so much and continues to stretch for new heights each year. What a fabulous group again this year!

Your car still looks like you are packed to the rafters… I know you will all have a great time! Can’t wait to see all the inspirational projects.

Paige, this is not packed to the rafters… this is the way it looks when we go away for a weekend… we also have dog beds in there because Colin will visit a friend overnight on the way home. Usually the backseats are folded flat and there isn’t a square inch of air space. This took less than 20 minutes! Doing the happy dance! Will miss you!
