This year we decided not to make definite plans for holidays… the past three years best laid plans had to be abandoned for one reason or another!
When Art Quilt Campus 2018 drew to a close Colin and I made a more or less snap decision… packed up the camper and set out in an eastern direction last Tuesday. We are well on our way across Ontario. A lovely visit with friends Nancy and Gill in Sault Ste. Marie came to an end this morning, we just left North Bay behind and are heading in the general direction of Ottawa.
Our ultimate destination is Nova Scotia where will will hopefully get to capture some fall colours… stay tuned for more tales and images!

beautiful pictures hope you have a good trip. Have stuck around Vienna this summer as I needed a knee operation. Fall is definitely in the air here now and the children are going back to school this week. Am still volunteering for the Women’s Guild and seem to always be busy. Have worked a bit on quilts but not much happening these days as it has been hot.
Am working on3 memory quilts for my neighbour and our quilt group is working on a kaleidoscope quilt to raffle. Have a good trip Anna and Colin and hope to see you sometime. Cathy Kieffer

Lake Superior is so worth the trip each time! We can’t get enough of it! Hope you can visit the East Coast sometime in the future! Each province is so unique and we have only scratched the surface the last two times we visited…

Beautiful pictures Anna. There’s something about Lake Superior that appeals to your soul, but it’s hard to explain to someone who has never seen it. Now you’ve given me some tips about new places to see. I’ll have to look up Katherine Cove. Enjoy the rest of your trip. We’ll be leaving at the end of Sept.
