We are racking up the miles…

…as we cross our vast country. The last time I checked in was when we left Sault Ste. Marie. We ended up spending the night in Black Bear Campground right next to CFB Petawawa feeling protected by Canada’s finest and sleeping ever so soundly.

On Monday we continued to just east of Ottawa where we made sure we didn’t move too much as the heat and humidity were nearly unbearable for a couple folks from the Prairies. But we survived and the next day was much better. We also visited with our good friend Elaine! We did what we do best, hang out, chat and visit the art store. I found treasures…. oh did I ever find treasures. I hope to put them to good use over the weekend when we spend time on the Acadian Coast with friends camping. My new sketchbooks, pens and watercolours will be put to good use!

I am typing this while swatting mosquitoes and other biting critters in Riverside Campground in Edmonston, New Brunswick. We crossed Quebec in record time always heading east where the Atlantic is calling us!

More to follow soon…
