…before the week runs away from me.
Hosting our weaving group on Monday (I decided to cater the meals for the day because we have not hosted in nearly three years!) too all my time over the weekend. I didn’t even step into the studio once till yesterday.
I did however finish a couple of items. The Belle Fleur by designer Bridget Mann is still waiting for an occasion to be debut at.
After I received the photo below of our grandson Sebastian last week (he has become a hockey fan at age 26 months…). This was his self-selected hockey uniform:
I made a trip to the fabric store, drafted a basic pattern and stitched for a day to create his first hockey uniform. It was mailed last week and I am waiting for a new picture! Here is the outfit:
This week I am preparing for a Miksang workshop for the members of our local group at our place. Looks like the weather will be on the chilly side…
Have a great rest of the week, everyone!
Fun Gramma! Creative kid!

Thanks, it’s very comfortable… will make the waist a little smaller next time as this is quite loose fitting. I used size “small” which goes up to a 40” waist… and mine is at 28”… it’s a live and learn experience!

I just love your grandson’s self-selected hockey uniform – he has his grandmother’s sense of fashion! and of course your own piece is gorgeous as well.

Isn’t his outfit amazing?? We laughed so hard when we saw the picture… another friend said he looks like a foot soldier. All around he is a very creative problem solver at his young age!
