Just a quick check in from our annual BC camping trip. Earlier this month I decided on a whim to make a Big Girl Quilt for our grand-daughter who finished pre-school today.
Pulling all fabrics and batting from my stash made this a fun and straight forward project. The Mock-Cathedral Window Design was easy to work all by machine.
Stay tuned: my next post will provide step by step instructions for this quilt.
Eliana loves the colours and went straight home for her afternoon nap cuddling with her new quilt… it’s quite chilly here in the Kootenays!
It is so colourful, and the stitching adds a lot of interest and texture. Looking forward to your post. So nice to see the family, enjoy your time with them.

Love to see the stitches I rarely use on my machine, used here. I may even try the pattern when you post it. Amazing color combos that you have used. Sorry it cooled off for your trip, enjoy.
