Art Quilt Campus

(last updated February 22nd, 2017)

Art Quilt Campus is an annual event organized by the author of this blog, Anna Hergert. 2016 marked the fifth consecutive year Art Quilt Campus was organized independently.

In late July 2012 we started calling the event Art Quilt Campus when a small group of seven had the entire Emma Lake Campus to ourselves. After Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus closed in November 2012 an alternate venue was secured for one week. 12 participants gathered for five days at Shekinah Retreat Centre near Waldheim, SK.(see images below)

2014 realized an unprecedented increase in interest, and it was decided to expand the event to two weeks. St. Peter’s Abbey in Muenster, SK east of Saskatoon, is where we now gather and grow our art quilt knowledge. Seasoned and beginner quilters alike are welcomed. For a recap of 2016 check out the following individual links filled with slide shows that provide an excellent overview of what happened in Muenster, SK during August 2016.
